LinkFM™ creates “links” to completely locked files without ever “seeing inside” the locked file. This makes it possible for developers to let end users integrate files into a locked set of templates. For example, suppose you need to let end users create a relationship to one of your template files, but the file is secured with a password that you do not want to give to your customers. LinkFM makes the creation of the relationship possible. The user never sees the inside of your locked file. There is no other way to create a relationship to a file without giving the user full access to the file. You can also use LinkFM to create links to other FileMaker objects such as scripts and value lists. Although these links can also be created without using LinkFM, the user always sees inside the files at some level. LinkFM creates the links without exposing your files.
